SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Hongxin will shut its 50,000 tonne/year phthalic anhydride (PA) line 1 for a catalyst change on 30 April as scheduled, a company source said on Friday.
Initially, maintenance at the PA line was scheduled for end-March but was postponed because of a delay in the arrival of the catalyst.
“The company will conduct similar catalyst change in May at its line 2 upon arrival of the catalyst,” he added.
