SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shandong Lihuayi has shut its phenol/acetone plant at Dongying in Shandong province on 25 April, a source close to the company said on Friday.

The plant, which has a phenol capacity of 220,000 tonnes/year and an acetone capacity of 130,000 tonnes/year, will remain off line until 28 April, the source said.

The outage is not anticipated to have a major impact on prices given prevailing weak market condition in China, sources said.
