South Korea’s YNCC settles April BD contract down by $307/tonne

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its April butadiene (BD) contract at $1,451/tonne (€1,103/tonne), down by $307/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Thursday.

The producer’s contract price settlement for March was at $1,758/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

YNCC derives its monthly contract price settlement from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

In the week ended 26 April, BD spot prices averaged at $1,425/tonne CFR (cost & freight) NE (northeast) Asia, according to ICIS data.
