HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based ExxonMobil has completed the repairs on the Pegasus pipeline in Doniphan, Missouri, the company said on Friday.

Earlier in the week, about 1 bbl of oil had leaked from the pipeline, ExxonMobil said. The pipeline is out of service.

If weather permits, work crews will begin to backfill the site, ExxonMobil said.

The company and regulators are investigating the cause of the leak.

A section of the Pegasus pipeline had a much larger spill in Arkansas on 29 March, where about 5,000 bbl of oil were released.
