China’s Jilin Petrochemical to start up jet-fuel project in end-2013

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical plans to start up its new 250,000 tonne/year jet-fuel project in Jilin by end-2013, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

Construction for the project, which has an investment of yuan (CNY) 89.9m ($14.6m), started on 29 April at Jilin city in northeast China’s Jilin province, the source added.

Product from the project will be supplied to Changchun Longjia International Airport and other airports in Jilin province, the source said.
