LONDON (ICIS)--Netherlands-based producer OCI Melamine is in the process of restarting its shortened liquid-phase process (SLP) melamine plant following planned maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
The producer said its low-pressure gas-phase process (GPH) plant in Geleen resumed normal production a few days ago.
“At this time, we are in the process of restarting our SLP plant,” it added.
OCI Melamine's GPH plant can produce 120,000 tonnes of melamine per year. Its SLP plant has the capacity to produce 30,000 tonnes of melamine per year.
