TAIPEI (ICIS)--Taiwan's state-owned CPC Corp has issued a tender on Thursday to sell a 9,000-tonne toluene cargo for June loading, a company source said.
The parcel will be loaded from the Kaoshiung port and will be priced at a premium to a FOB (free on board) Korea basis, the source said at the sidelines of the annual Asian Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC).
“The buyer has to choose for first-half, mid or second-half June loading,” he said.
The tender will be closed on 15 May and the result will be announced on 16 May, he added.
CPC issued a tender because of the restart of the No 3 aromatics plant in Linyuan earlier this week.
APIC 2013 is taking place in Taiwan’s capital Taipei on 9-10 May.
