TAIPEI (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Nan Ya Plastics plans to restart its bisphenol A (BPA) No 1 line at Mailiao by the end of June, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The 90,000 tonne/year line has been idled since mid-February following a fire.
Nan Ya Plastics’ three other BPA units – two 100,000 tonne/year lines and a 130,000 tonne/year line – at the site are currently running at full capacity, the source said.
