TEHRAN (ICIS)—Kermanshah Petrochemicals’ 300,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) plant in the Kermanshah province in western Iran, has achieved 100% output, a senior official at Bakhtar Petrochemical said on Tuesday.

Ethylene feedstock for the HDPE plant is being procured from Kavian Petrochemicals’ first cracker through the West Ethylene Pipeline,” Davood Reza Rabhani, managing director of Bakhtar Petrochemical, said on the sidelines of the 10th Iran Petrochemical Forum on Tuesday.

The 1m tonne/year ethane cracker went on stream late last year.
