SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) is running its No 1 aromatics facility in Yeosu at 105% capacity after restarting it on 12 May, company sources said on Wednesday.

“We began the feed-in [to the aromatics plant] on last Sunday,” one of the sources said.

The scheduled turnaround was intended to last for 10 days, but was delayed for two days because of minor issues, the source added.

YNCC’s No 1 aromatics facility can produce 140,000 tonnes/year of benzene, 80,000 tonnes/year of toluene and 50,000 tonnes/year of solvent xylene.
