SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Bayer MaterialScience is planning to shut down its 275,000 tonne/year polycarbonate (PC) plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand, on May 19 for scheduled maintenance, the company said on Wednesday.
During the turnaround period, Bayer will conduct inspections and perform maintenance and project work at the plant, the company said in an email to ICIS.
The plant is expected to resume production by the end of June, it added.
