China’s Xinjiang Tianye Group to start up new MEG plant in Aug 2014

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Xinjiang Tianye Group plans to start up its 250,000 tonne/year monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant in August 2014 in Shihezi of Xinjiang province, a company source said on Thursday.

The construction of the plant started on 12 May, according to the source.

Financial details of the new plant were not disclosed by the company.
