SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Anhui Chuzhou Dewei New Material Co plans to start up its 100,000 tonne/year engineering plastics plant in Anhui province in the second half of 2014, a source close to the company said on Monday.
The construction work started on 6 May, and the project involves an investment of about yuan (CNY) 2bn ($326m), the source said.
The engineering plastics project will also have a capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year of ultra-high voltage insulation materials, the source added.
