SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s OCI Chemical is running its toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) facility at near 100% after completing maintenance works at the unit in early May, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
The 50,000 tonne/year facility located at Gunsan was taken off line on 1 April, the source said.
TDI is a raw material for making polyurethane (PU) foams used in various applications, including the manufacture of furniture and automobiles.
