LONDON (ICIS)--Russian fertilizer producer Eurochem is planning a one-month turnaround at its melamine facility in Nevinnomyssk, from the middle of August, a source from the company said on Wednesday.

“We’ve been kept running at 60% of capacity and are planning a turnaround for the middle of August for one month, related to the upstream maintenance shutdown of ammonia and urea installations,” it said.

Eurochem has the capacity to produce 50,000 tonnes/year of melamine.

Melamine is a raw material in wood-adhesive resins and laminates.
