LONDON (ICIS)--The 10,000 workers in Germany’s potash and rock salt industry get a 3.0% wage hike under a new 21-month collective bargaining deal with employers, the country’s chemicals and energy union IG BCE said on Wednesday.
The wage hike is retroactive to 1 May. In addition, workers will receive two €300 ($384) one-off payments, one in 2013 and one in 2014.
The deal expires in December 2014, IG BCE said.
