SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Guizhou Wengfu (Group) plans to shut its 200,000 tonne/year nitrogen phosphorus potassium (NPK) unit in Shandong province of east China in the coming weekend of 25-26 May for maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The company will shut the plant for 10 days because summer fertilizer production is coming to an end, the source added.
“The shutdown will have minimal impact on the market as the producer has enough NPK stocks to fulfil its orders,” said the source.
