SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Three major paraxylene (PX) producers in Asia have nominated their June Asian Contract Price (ACP) at $1,470-1,500/tonne (€1,132-1,155/tonne), down by $50-120/tonne from the ACP nomination in May, industry sources said on Friday.
Japan’s JX Nippon Oil and Energy quoted $1,470/tonne CFR (cost & freight) Asia for its June ACP, while Idemitsu Kosan nominated theirs at $1,500/tonne CFR Asia, market sources said.
Meanwhile, South Korean PX maker S-Oil has nominated its June ACP at $1,490/tonne CFR Asia, according to its buyers.
Aromatics giant ExxonMobil is likely to announce its June PX ACP nomination on 27 May, according to its customers.
