SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Henan Kaixiang Chemical on 23 May restarted its 45,000 tonne/year butanediol (BDO) unit at Henan province following a turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The company shut two of its BDO units in Henan on 20-21 April this year for scheduled maintenance, according to ICIS data.
Meanwhile, the firm’s other 45,000tonne/year BDO plant is currently running at 90% after it was restarted on 13 May, according to the company source
