SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Jilin Petrochemical restarted its 275,000 tonne/year liner low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant in Jilin province on 27 May, a company source said on Monday.
The plant was shut for maintenance on 15 May, the source added.
Local distributors said the supply may increase after the plant’s restart as Jilin Petrochemical is one of the major LLDPE producers.
Jilin Petrochemical is a subsidiary of state-owned oil giant PetroChina.
