India’s Gopalpur Port starts operations

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Gopalpur Port opened over the weekend of 25-26 May on a trial basis, Indian media reported on Monday.

According to the state-owned Press Trust of India, a cargo of around 7,500 metric tonnes of ilmenite was shipped to South Korea on 26 May.

Gopalpur, located on the east coast of India, is an all-weather port.
