SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Denka Singapore is ramping up production at its newly restarted 200,000 tonne/year polystyrene (PS) unit in Jurong Islsand, said a company source on Tuesday.
The plant resumed production in the second half of last week after more than a month of scheduled maintenance from 10 April, the source said.
“The plant is currently ramping up [production] and could reach maximum output next week,” the source said.
The other PS producer in Singapore is Total Petrochemicals.
