HOUSTON (ICIS)--Valero’s Texas City refinery in Texas is back at normal production rates after a power outage over the weekend, a company spokesperson said on Tuesday.

“The electrical issue at Texas City had no material impact on production,” said Valero’s Bill Day.

The 225,000 bbl/day refinery experienced a power outage, resulting in flaring on 26 May, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
