HOUSTON (ICIS)--US industrial gases major Praxair has acquired Dominion Technology Gases Investment, a Scotland-based global supplier of gases and related equipment to the offshore oil and gas industry, it said on Wednesday.
"Dominion uniquely positions Praxair to provide industry-leading products and services to an expanded base of high-value customers in the global offshore oil and gas market," Praxair said without disclosing how much it paid for the company.
Dominion is expected to generate full-year 2013 sales of about $55m (€43m), Praxair added.
Established in 1988, Dominion was majority-owned by UK private equity firm Graphite Capital.
