LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European ethylene contract price for June has been agreed at €1,170/tonne ($1,500/tonne), up by €5/tonne, a major consumer said on Wednesday.
The contract, which is settled on a free delivered (FD) northwest European (NWE) basis, was between the major consumer and a major producer.
Confirmation from the selling side is pending.
($1 = €0.78)
