LONDON (ICIS)--A second European propylene contract price (CP) settlement for June has been confirmed at €1,040/tonne ($1,351/tonne), up by €15/tonne, to reflect firmer naphtha feedstock, a major integrated consumer said on Thursday.
The settlement was between the major integrated consumer and a major producer and followed the initial settlement done late on Wednesday by another major producer and a non-integrated consumer.
A second non-integrated consumer is also said to have agreed and two other contract participants have indicated that they will follow.
The contract price is agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
