SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Lotte Chemical has been running its aromatics plant in Yeosu at 100% capacity after the plant completed a five-day turnaround, a company source said on Tuesday.
The aromatics plant was shut on 20 May for a catalyst regeneration, the source said.
The plant has a nameplate capacity of 180,000 tonnes/year of benzene, 84,000 tonnes/year of toluene and 60,000 tonnes/year of solvent xylene.
Meanwhile, Lotte Chemical is operating its 360,000 tonne/year benzene unit in Daesan at 100% capacity, the source said.
