LONDON (ICIS)--Belgium-based Solvay's 50,000 tonne/year epichlorohydrin (ECH) unit in Tavaux, France, is fully operational, after a month-long reduction in production capacity, a company source said on Tuesday.
The plant was running at two-thirds of its nameplate capacity in May so essential maintenance work could be carried out.
All other European production units are now operational, apart from Spolchemie's 24,000 tonne/year ECH unit in Usti nad Labem in the Czech Republic which is shut down due to flood disruption.
