SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China Offshore Oil & Gas (Taizhou) will resume bitumen production at its 1.5m tonne/year crude distillation unit (CDU) at Taizhou in Jiangsu province on 6 June after completing its routine maintenance, a company source said on Wednesday.
The CDU was shut on 27 May for turnaround, according to the source.
The refiner will produce AH-70/90 bitumen after the restart, the source said, without disclosing its specific daily output plan.
In May, the company mainly produced AH-70 bitumen, with an daily output of 1,500-1,600 tonnes.
Besides bitumen, China Offshore Oil & Gas (Taizhou) also produces industrial fuel oil and residue.
