LONDON (ICIS)--BHP Billiton has completed the $1.63bn (€1.24bn) sale of stakes in an Australian liquefied natural gas (LNG) project to PetroChina, the Anglo-Australian energy, mining and fertilizer major said on Friday.
BHP Billiton said that it sold its 8.33% interest in the East Browse joint venture and a 20% interest in the West Browse joint venture, both located offshore Western Australia.
The deal was first announced in December last year.
