Bearish sentiment in the European toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) market has become more pronounced this month with downward price pressure likely to be greater than initially thought, sources said on Friday.
Bullish Europe PP sellers target hikes in June on reduced output
Polypropylene (PP) buyers in June are facing higher prices but it is not clear how successful producers will be, following a bumper month of buying in May, sources said on Thursday.
Declining Europe prices weaken June IPEX
European monoethanolamine (MEA) spot prices are under pressure from competitively priced imports from Asia and other regions, while diethanolamine (DEA) and triethanolamine (TEA) remain stable, market sources said on Wednesday.
Floods close Middle Rhine shipping routes until end of the week
Shipping along the middle section of the River Rhine through Germany is likely to remained closed until Friday at the earliest, an official said on Tuesday, as flood waters continue to buffet Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
Flooding suspends shipping on Rhine
Flooding caused by unseasonal heavy rains has led to the suspension of shipping along the Upper and Middle Rhine, an engineer for the Central Commission for Navigation on the Rhine (CCNR) said on Monday.
