PetroLogistics confirms scheduled shutdown of Texas PDH unit

HOUSTON (ICIS)—US propylene producer PetroLogistics confirmed on Monday that it shut down its Houston propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit in Texas on 8 June.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in early June, the company said that it was shutting down two of the unit’s reactors on 8 June.

The company said it is also going to perform additional maintenance at the site.

According to the filing, the unit will be restarted on 20 June. The unit has 544,000 tonnes/year of propylene capacity, according to ICIS plants and projects.
