Saudi Polyolefins shuts down Al-Jubail PP plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi Polyolefins has shut down its 720,000 tonne/year polypropylene plant in Al-Jubail, a source close to the company said on Tuesday.

The scheduled shutdown began in the middle of last week, and is expected to take place until June 20.

Saudi Polyolefins is a joint venture between the National Industrialisation Co (Tasnee) of Saudi Arabia, and LyondellBasell.
