LONDON (ICIS)--Saudi International Petrochemical (Sipchem) said on Tuesday that its 200,000 tonne/year ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and low density polyethylene (LDPE) project at Jubail Industrial City is now scheduled to start up in the third quarter of 2013.
Previously, project start-up had been expected for the fourth quarter.
In a regulatory filing, Sipchem also said that it obtained long-term loan financing from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund for the project.
