SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Hanwha Chemical is currently operating its oxo-alcohols plant in Yeosu at full capacity, a company source said on Wednesday.

The unit, which has a nameplate capacity of 110,000 tonnes/year of 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) and 10,000 tonnes/year of n-butanol (NBA), was shut on 22 May for a catalyst change.

The company restarted the unit on 4 June, and has since ramped up operations to 100%, the source added.
