SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Chinese firm Hainan Handi Sunshine Petrochemical has sold out its June base oils supply, a company source said on Thursday.
Its planned production for the month – at 10,000 tonnes of Group II N150 grades – was fully booked as of 7 June, the source said.
Hainan Handi Sunshine currently has 2,000 tonnes of base oils inventory that will be sold depending on market demand, the source said.
The company plans to shut its sole 300,000 tonne/year Group II base oils unit in Hainan province in southern China on 1 July for a three-month turnaround, the source said.
Hainan Handi Sunshine Petrochemical mainly produces Group II N70, N150 and N400 base oils.
