HOUSTON (ICIS)--Valero is restarting a hydrocracking unit at its Port Arthur refinery in Texas, a company spokesperson confirmed on Thursday.
The unit at the 292,000 bbl/day refinery had been undergoing a planned catalyst change-out since mid-May.
“The hydrocracker work at Port Arthur has wrapped up, and the hydrocracker is in the restart process now,” said Valero’s Bill Day. “It will be several days before it’s back at planned rates.”
