SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Fushun Petrochemical, a PetroChina subsidiary, plans to restart its polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) facilities at Fushun in Liaoning province on 20 June, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The units were shut on 15 May for scheduled maintenance, according to the source.
The producer has a 90,000 tonne/year PP unit and a 300,000 tonne/year PP unit at the production site.
The PE facility comprises a 140,000 tonne/year high density polyethylene (HDPE) unit, a 350,000 tonne/year HDPE unit and a 450,000 tonne/year low linear density polyethylene (LLDPE) unit.
