SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Dazhou Huixin Energy is planning to shut its 1 million cubic metre (mcm)/day gas liquefaction plant at Dazhou in Sichuan province on 1 July for a 15-day turnaround, a company source said on Thursday.

The plant’s turnaround will coincide with a disruption to its gas supply, due to a scheduled maintenance shutdown at some of Sinopec’s facilities at the Puguang gasfield in southwest China, the source said.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) output from the plant will be limited during the shutdown as Dazhou Huixin’s inventory level is low, added the source.

Dazhou Huixin is largely engaged in energy development and chemical production.
