SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is offering by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading in late July, according to a tender document obtained by ICIS on Friday.
The cargo is scheduled for loading from the New Mangalore port on 28-30 July, it stated.
The tender closes on 25 June, with bids to stay valid until 26 June, the tender showed.
On Thursday, MPRL awarded a tender offering 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from the New Mangalore port on 20-22 July. Chinese trading firm Unipec was the buyer and the deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $27.38/tonne (€20.53/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board).
MRPL previously sold by tender a similar-sized naphtha cargo for loading from the New Mangalore port on 13-15 July, to oil major BP. The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $26.00-27.00/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB.
