SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation plans to restart its 32,000 tonnes/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant at Mizushima in Okayama prefecture in mid-July after completing regular maintenance, a company source said on Friday.
The plant was taken off line on 15 June, the source added.
Mitsubishi has built up inventory prior to the shutdown to maintain supply to the domestic market, the source said.
