Germany's Domo Caproleuna phenol, acetone outage to start in August

LONDON (ICIS)--Domo Caproleuna has scheduled a planned outage at its phenol/acetone plant in Leuna, Germany for the first two weeks of August, a company source confirmed on Friday.

“Our shutdown will be in the first half of August for two weeks for regular maintenance,” the source from the Germany-headquartered company said.

The Leuna plant has the capacity to produce 150,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 90,000 tonnes/year of by-product acetone.
