HOUSTON (ICIS)--LyondellBasell shut down the company’s propylene oxide (PO) plant in Pasadena, Texas, because of a loss of steam from an external supplier and a temporary loss of power from an external supplier, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) on Friday.
As a result, the plant emitted more than 600 lbs t-butyl alcohol and nearly 300 lbs of nitrogen oxide, according to the TCEQ filing.
The company would not comment on its day-to-day operations.
