LONDON (ICIS)--India's Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) has issued its fifth ammonia tender of 2013 as it looks to secure a 7,000-tonne cargo to arrive in the first half of July, market sources said on Monday.
Under the terms of the tender, the ammonia parcel must be delivered to the west coast port of Kochi - formerly Cochin - between 8 and 14 July. The tender is scheduled to close at 14:30 local time on 27 June.
In late May, a similar tender by FACT for 8,400 tonnes of ammonia was awarded to Indian trader CIFC at $576/tonne (€438/tonne) CFR (cost and freight).
That cargo of Iranian ammonia was delivered on LPG tanker the Gas Cat on 14 June.
