LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European July propylene contract price settlement has been agreed at a rollover €1,040/tonne ($1,368/tonne) because of largely stable feedstock and supply and demand fundamentals, a major consumer said on Wednesday.
The contract, which is settled on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis, was between the consumer and one of its suppliers, a major propylene producer.
A second major consumer has also confirmed settlement with this producer. However, direct confirmation from the producer is still pending.
