China May capro imports fall on low-priced domestic supply

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s caprolactam (capro) imports in May fell by 42.4% from April to 25,694 tonnes because of availability of lower-priced domestic supply, market sources said on Thursday.

Capro import prices in May averaged at $2,393/tonne (€1,818/tonne), representing a 3.8% decline from the previous month, according to China Customs.
