China’s Shandong Energy Xinwen Mining shuts PVC plant for 10 days

SINGAPORE(ICIS)--Shandong Energy Xinwen Mining Group shut down its 100,000 tonne/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant in eastern China on Thursday, a company source said.

The plant will undergo about 10 days of maintenance, the source said.

Prior to the plant’s shutdown, offers for type of SG-3 PVC were at yuan (CNY) 6,750/tonne ($1,098/tonne) ex-works (EXW).
