LONDON (ICIS)--European Q3 refined vegetable glycerine prices are likely to increase, according to sources late on Wednesday.

Prices of anywhere between €640-730/tonne ($831-948/tonne) FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe) were quoted by sources, which attributed robust pricing to tight conditions seen in the market recently.

Those market participants which settled contracts early during negotiations have achieved lower prices, as market conditions have progressively tightened since then.

“Generally, I can afford to ask for contract values of €720-730/tonne FD NWE, as we are sold out of volumes for the third quarter,” one producer said.
