SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina will settle its July-delivery Daqing and Jidong crude at yuan (CNY) 5,266/tonne ($117.14/bbl), down by CNY42/tonne from June, a company source said on Friday.
PetroChina primarily uses Dubai crude as benchmark in setting monthly crude prices.
Daqing and Jidong crude account for 38% of PetroChina’s total crude output.
PetroChina’s July settlements for Huabei, Dagang and Changqing crude, on the other hand, were CNY35-46/tonne lower from the previous month, the source said.
The company is China’s biggest oil producer.
