SINGAPORE (ICIS)--DSM has acquired New Zealand-based nutritional products maker Unitech Industries for an undisclosed fee, the Netherlands-based life sciences and materials sciences firm said on Monday.
Unitech focuses primarily on the manufacture and sale of micronutrient premixes and macronutrient blends for the health and nutrition markets in Asia, the company said in a statement.
The company is also active in the nutrition and health markets for animals, it added.
Unitech generates annual net sales of around €30m ($39m) and has about 100 employees, according to DSM.
